What is The Process Like?
Every organization is unique; therefore, so should be the process. Using the internationally recognized Non-Profit Lifecycles Model, we begin by analyzing where your organization stands today to identify the growth areas. Together, we will implement the solutions needed to realize your mission with clarity, become sustainable, and begin seek grants when appropriate. Preparing to succeed is just as important as success itself, and I’m here to help!
1. Schedule an introductory & strategy call
Send me a message and we will schedule a call within two weeks to discuss your organization and needs.
2. Develop a customized plan
Based on our call, I will develop a plan broken down by phases that will serve as our roadmap to success.
3. Learn and prepare to succeed
The theme of Phase 1 is always training! We will begin by addressing areas of concern and red flags that are barriers to your success.
4. Pursue grant opportunities
Once we have resolved foreseen challenges and turned your red flags into green, we will start applying for grants.
5. Manage awards and exceed expectations
When grant funding starts rolling in, I’ll help to make sure your organization is prepared to manage the funds and exceed the grantor’s expectations.
About Me
Simply put, I am an eager, type A social worker who thrives in the world of planning, evaluating, grant writing, and personalized coaching. With 10+ years in the non-profit sector and more than $15 million secured in private grant funding, I am the non-profit coach and grant writing consultant for organizations looking to embrace the power of good advice.
Today, I live in Texas with my husband and toddler, but have previously called Arizona, North Dakota, and California home. While living in Arizona, I earned my bachelor’s degree in social work, master’s degree in social work, master’s degree in public administration, and certificate in LGBTQ studies from Arizona State University. Between my vast educational background, lived experiences, and history in the non-profit sector, supporting organizations throughout the nation embrace the power of good advice has come naturally.
